서혜인 Hyein Seo

Bio

Hyein Seo, born in Seoul, explores conceptual work through photography. Centered on self-portraiture, she expresses personal narratives through a range of images, examining the clash of identities in contemporary society and the process of confronting them. Her work seeks to expand private experiences into a social context, capturing traces of belief, hope, and love within an imperfect reality through the medium of photography.

서혜인은 서울에서 태어나 사진을 매체로 개념적인 작업을 이어오고 있다. 셀프 포트레이트를 중심으로 한 이미지들을 통해 개인적인 서사를 풀어내며, 동시대 사회 속에서 충돌하는 정체성과 그것을 직면하는 과정을 탐구해왔다. 사적인 경험을 사회적 맥락으로 확장하고자 하며, 불완전한 현실 속에서 믿음, 소망, 사랑의 흔적을 포착하는 데 주력하고 있다.
